As some of you may have heard, there was a series of Civil
Society meetings that coincided with the ICANN convention
in Melbourne, Australia. These Civil Society meetings were to
touch upon a variety of cyberliberties issues, including
Internet free speech and privacy, the digital divide and many
other topics. The minutes for these meetings have now been
