I thought you may find this interesting, but it appears this problem just occurred, and we are not the only ones suffering from the wrath of unfair business practices by Microsoft. I have since filled a complaint with the Wisconsin's State Attorneys Office in Madison. I have also contacted our vendors to make sure they are aware of the problem. An plans are underway now to get an NT server in here for FrontPage Client. I have no other choice, but I am in business to keep customers happy and it appears that this is the only way to do it. Apparently it is the FrontPage 98 version and FrontPage Plus under Windows98 that cause the problems. Also FrontPage Plus will return the following message to subscribers that sign up with ISP's that do not use Microsoft Based Server: "The web site you have specified does not appear to be FrontPage enabled, so you cannot upload your files to it using the FrontPage Enabled Web protocol. You might want to try selecting another Internet Provider from the list of Internet Service Providers." ie. Only those using Microsoft.
